Another Demo Night weekend has come and gone! We had beautiful "Scottish" weather or typical Pennsylvania spring weather depending on your perspective.
Thursday was dedicated to open club shooting, Friday was Consumer Fireworks product demonstration night and Saturday was Display Fireworks product demonstration night.
Sesame Chen of Golden Peak Fireworks made her annual trip from China to be on hand for demo weekend answering questions and product development. Kellner's Fireworks and Golden Peak's exclusive relationship allows the individual fine tuning of each firework making it above and beyond a comparable brand.
The attendees enjoyed great seminars and fantastic
fireworks. In case you couldn't attend, here are the
activities you missed:
Thursday
Light Up the Sky with Pyro Club Open Shooting Pyro club
members started Demo Nights early with dark sky set aside
just for them. Club members were invited to shoot products before the crowd showed up on Friday and
Saturday. Kellner's accented the night by setting off class B display shells throughout the evening. The 6" Ghost shell made its
debut at Kellner's causing a slight fire out in the field and a fire truck embedded in the mud.
Friday
Creating a Consumer Fireworks Pyro Musical Display
This was a free course presented by the winners of the Consumer Fireworks Display Competitions at the 2007 Pyrotechnics Guild International Convention.
The class touched upon small, large, unlimited sized display and hand firing and computer firing.

2009 CONSUMER FIREWORKS PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION Drew Vaporis recreation of his award winning small display and the "destruction" of 30+ cases of overloaded 9 shot KNOCKOUT BEACH BROCADE's served as the finally of the night.
Saturday
The Pyrotechnics Guild International "Display Fireworks Shooters Certification Course" by Dean Putt and
The Pennsylvania Pyro Artists Club
Participants learned the basics of safe display fireworks exhibiting, hand firing, electrical firing and close proximity pyrotechnics.
